📋 Editorial Note on This Tab
The "globalist agenda" is one of the most charged phrases in contemporary politics.
It covers a spectrum from documented facts about real organizations with real policies
all the way to elaborate theories about secret cabals controlling everything.
Both extremes do a disservice to the truth.
The documented version of this story is damning enough on its own.
An unelected private organization founded by one man has trained hundreds of
world leaders, partnered with the United Nations, openly published agendas
calling for fundamental restructuring of the global economy, and has its
fingerprints on coordinated policy adoption across dozens of sovereign governments.
All of that is in their own documents. We don't need to embellish it.
We present what's documented first. Then what's disputed. Then what's speculative.
In that order. With labels on everything.

The World Economic Forum was founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, a German engineer
with a doctorate from ETH Zurich and a master's in public administration from
Harvard — where Henry Kissinger was his mentor. It is headquartered in Cologny,
Switzerland. It describes itself as "the International Organization for
Public-Private Cooperation." It is funded primarily by approximately 1,000
corporate members — membership fees run from $60,000 to $600,000+ per year
depending on membership tier. It is not elected, not accountable to any government,
and not subject to any democratic oversight. Its annual meeting in Davos,
Switzerland brings together approximately 3,000 political leaders, CEOs,
central bankers, media executives, and celebrities.

In a 2017 video interview, Klaus Schwab stated: "I have to say, when I mention
now names like Mrs. Merkel, even Vladimir Putin, and so on, they have all been
Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. But what we are very proud of
now is the young generation like Prime Minister Trudeau, President of Argentina
and so on — we penetrate the cabinets. So yesterday I was at a reception for
Prime Minister Trudeau and I know that half of his cabinet, or even more than
half of his cabinet, are actually Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum."
This statement was made by Schwab himself on camera. It was not taken out of context.

Impact: This is Schwab himself describing WEF influence over sovereign government cabinets — not a conspiracy theory. His words.
In July 2025, an internal WEF investigation found that Klaus Schwab
personally intervened in the 2017/18 Annual Global Competitiveness Report
when data showed the UK had moved up from 7th to 4th place. Schwab wrote
to staff that the UK "must not see any improvement" because it would be
"exploited by the Brexit camp." The final published report showed the UK
had instead dropped to 8th place. This means WEF's supposedly objective
global economic data was manipulated by its founder for political purposes.

Impact: WEF's "objective" global competitiveness data — used by governments and investors worldwide — was manipulated for political reasons by its founder
In February 2026, Børge Brende — head of the World Economic Forum —
resigned over his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
This followed the August 2025 resignation of interim chair Peter Brabeck-Letmathe
after whistleblowers alleged financial irregularities and a toxic work environment.
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink was subsequently appointed co-chair of the WEF board.

The Forum of Young Global Leaders was established in 2004. It selects
approximately 100 individuals under 40 per year across politics, business,
media, academia, and civil society. Selection is by invitation — candidates
are screened without their knowledge. The program provides a three-year
"leadership development" curriculum including executive education,
peer networking, and involvement in WEF projects. The community now has
1,400+ current and former members from 120+ countries. WEF's own press
releases note that members "have gone on to become heads of state,
CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, and UN Goodwill Ambassadors."

Impact: An unelected private organization has trained sitting heads of government, cabinet ministers, and senior officials across dozens of countries — all selected through a private process controlled by WEF
The central disputed question: does the fact that many world leaders are
YGL alumni mean they are taking coordinated direction from WEF, or simply
that WEF selects high-achieving people who were already on track for leadership?
The Coordination Argument
Schwab himself said WEF "penetrates cabinets." Multiple YGL alumni adopted nearly identical policy language simultaneously — "Build Back Better" was used word for word by Biden, Boris Johnson, Justin Trudeau, and others within the same period. The YGL program explicitly trains members in WEF agendas and connects them in a private peer network.
The Coincidence Argument
WEF selects people who are already rising stars — they were going to become leaders regardless. Similar policy language can emerge from shared advisors, think tanks, and consulting firms without WEF coordination. Membership in a networking program doesn't mean following orders.

In June 2020, Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret published "COVID-19: The Great Reset."
This is a real book with real content. Key documented positions from the book and
associated WEF materials: (1) The COVID pandemic should be used as a "narrow window
of opportunity" to reset global economic and social systems. (2) "Stakeholder capitalism"
— where corporations act as "trustees of society" rather than serving shareholders —
should replace traditional capitalism. (3) The Fourth Industrial Revolution will
fundamentally change "what it means to be human." (4) A "great reset of capitalism"
is needed. These are direct paraphrases from the book and Schwab's public statements.
"The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world."

In 2016, Danish politician and WEF contributor Ida Auken published an essay
on the WEF website titled "Welcome to 2030. I Own Nothing, Have No Privacy,
and Life Has Never Been Better." The first prediction read: "You will own
nothing and be happy. Whatever you want you'll rent and it will be delivered
by drone." WEF published and promoted this piece. It was later deleted from
the WEF website — but archived copies exist. Auken later said it was meant
as a thought experiment, not a policy prescription. WEF maintained the
deletion was routine content management.
✓ Documented Facts
WEF published the essay. The "own nothing" language is real. The essay was deleted. Archived copies confirm its contents. WEF promoted it at the time of publication.
Context WEF Provides
Auken and WEF say it was a speculative thought experiment presented as one possible future scenario — not a policy goal. The deletion was attributed to routine content management, not suppression.

Yuval Noah Harari is an Israeli historian and transhumanist who serves as
a key WEF advisor and frequent Davos keynote speaker. His documented public
statements include: (1) "Free will — that's over" — stated at WEF events.
(2) In a 2015 TEDGlobal talk he asked: "What do we need so many humans for?"
(3) He has stated that humans are "hackable animals" and discussed the
creation of a "global surveillance state." (4) He has discussed a future
"useless class" of humans rendered economically irrelevant by technology
who can be managed through digital surveillance. These are his words,
on record, at events he chose to speak at.

Impact: WEF's key public intellectual openly discusses population reduction and human obsolescence as academic frameworks — not policy, but as the intellectual foundation informing WEF's vision
As of 2024, over 130 countries representing 98% of global GDP are exploring
or developing Central Bank Digital Currencies. China's digital yuan is the
most advanced — piloted across multiple cities and tested in cross-border
payments. The U.S. Federal Reserve published research on a potential digital
dollar. The European Central Bank is in advanced stages of a digital euro.
CBDCs differ fundamentally from existing digital payment systems — they are
issued directly by central banks, can be programmed with spending rules,
can have expiration dates, and can be frozen by government action.
The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) — the central bank of central banks —
openly stated CBDCs would give central banks "absolute control" over money use.
"We don't know who's using a $100 bill today... with a CBDC, the central bank will have absolute control on the rules and regulations that will determine the use of that expression of central bank liability."

Impact: The infrastructure for programmable, controllable, revocable money is being built simultaneously across the world's major economies — this is happening regardless of what you call it
Proponents argue CBDCs will increase financial inclusion, reduce transaction
costs, and give governments better tools to deliver aid directly to citizens.
Critics — including many economists and civil libertarians — argue that
programmable money gives governments the ability to control what you spend,
where you spend it, when it expires, and to freeze your access to funds
for any reason. The Canadian government's freezing of bank accounts of
trucker convoy protesters in 2022 — using existing banking infrastructure —
is cited as a preview of what CBDC capability could enable.

In June 2019, the WEF and the United Nations signed a strategic partnership
agreement. The partnership positioned WEF as the primary private sector
partner for implementing the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) —
commonly known as Agenda 2030. This means an unelected private organization
funded by multinational corporations is formally partnered with the body
representing 193 sovereign nations to implement global development policy.
The partnership was signed by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and
Klaus Schwab.
Sources: UN-WEF Strategic Partnership Framework (June 2019) · UN press release · WEF announcement · Guterres-Schwab signing documentation
Impact: A private organization accountable to no electorate is formally co-implementing global policy with the United Nations — this is documented in a signed agreement
UN Agenda 2030 — adopted by all 193 UN member nations in 2015 — contains
17 Sustainable Development Goals. The goals include ending poverty, addressing
climate change, and reducing inequality. But the implementation framework
also includes: (Goal 16) "Global governance" reforms giving international
bodies greater authority over national policy. (Goal 17) "Means of implementation"
requiring nations to align domestic policy with the SDG framework.
Critics — including many national sovereignty advocates — argue the implementation
mechanisms effectively create binding international governance structures
that override democratic national decision-making. Supporters argue the
goals are voluntary commitments. The debate over whether they are truly
voluntary is ongoing.

The claim that a single secret group — variously described as the WEF,
the Bilderberg Group, the Rothschilds, the Illuminati, or others — secretly
controls all major world governments through a coordinated command structure
is currently SPECULATIVE. What is documented is significant influence through
elite networking, policy coordination, and ideological alignment. What is
not documented is a single secret controlling authority issuing orders that
all governments follow. The distinction matters — the documented version
is alarming enough without the undocumented version being asserted as fact.
📋 Editorial Note
The documented influence of WEF, BIS, IMF, and UN on national policy is real and significant.
The question of whether this constitutes centralized control vs. coordinated elite consensus
is genuinely disputed. We present the documented facts and let you draw your own conclusions
about what they add up to.

The claim that WEF or associated global elites have an explicit, operational
policy goal of reducing world population through deliberate means is SPECULATIVE.
What is documented: Harari's "what do we need so many humans for" statement,
various elite figures' comments about overpopulation, Bill Gates' funding
of population-related programs, and WEF discussions of a "useless class."
These are documented statements. Whether they represent a coordinated
depopulation agenda with operational plans is not documented. The statements
warrant scrutiny. The leap to operational conspiracy requires evidence
that has not been produced.

In October 2019 — two months before the first COVID cases were reported —
WEF co-hosted Event 201, a pandemic simulation exercise with Johns Hopkins
and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The exercise simulated a novel
coronavirus pandemic and recommended specific policy responses including
government-media coordination, counter-disinformation campaigns, and
international governance structures. Many of these recommendations were
implemented during the actual COVID response.
Documented Facts
Event 201 happened. The date is documented. The participants are documented. The recommendations are documented. The subsequent similarities between the simulation recommendations and actual policy are documentable.
Disputed Interpretation
Pandemic simulation exercises are standard public health practice and had been conducted for decades. The similarities between simulation recommendations and actual policy may reflect good preparedness planning rather than coordination. No evidence of operational coordination between Event 201 participants and government COVID policy has been documented.
